Throughout his career, Fabio has held positions in the marketing departments of renowned brands within his industry. Some notable companies he has worked for include Mettler Toledo, a world leader in analytical instrumentation, Mobilestop, the first Brazilian operation to sell mobile phones online, Editora 3, one of Brazil’s largest publishers, and Vivo, the largest mobile operator in the southern hemisphere.
As an advertiser in various agencies, he has served as a creative and positioning strategist for brands such as Leo Madeiras, the largest Brazilian retailer focused on cabinetmakers, Formica, the largest South American manufacturer of high-pressure laminates, and Sun Microsystems, now Oracle, a global leader in databases and cloud applications. Other clients he has worked with include Bit Company, Farmais, Unibanco, and Panasonic, among others.
In 2007, Fabio founded FARO BRASIL Advertising in Brasília, starting with a personal investment of R$100 thousand reais. The agency, now known as Modernista Criatividade, has managed over R$400 million in advertising funds in the past 15 years, predominantly in the Midwest and North regions of Brazil. Major clients served by the agency include Vivo, Marista Centro Norte, IDP, Objetivo DF, Terra Flor Aromatherapy, and Brasil Kirin (now Heineken). The company achieved an annual turnover of R$7 million and employed around 40 qualified professionals. Furthermore, Fabio is currently a partner and Chief Operating Officer of Draftline CO, a creative agency exclusively dedicated to AMBEV labels, acknowledged by the company as its most creative unit across all regions. In 2019, he also brought the first franchise of Bar do Urso, the official spot of Cervejaria Colorado, to Brasília.
Fabio has served as an associate consultant, providing expertise in branding, digital presence, design, products, and marketing. He has undertaken projects for SEBRAE and micro-entrepreneurs, as well as worked independently with brands like AMBEV, Telefonica, and Texaco.
As a university professor in Brasília, he has shared his knowledge by teaching classes on Design Fundamentals, Information Visuality, and Marketing to Journalism and Marketing students. Additionally, Fabio has delivered lectures and open courses on these subjects.
Fabio’s journey in music began in 1989 when he started a professional DJ career at the young age of 13. He performed and held residencies at prominent clubs in São Paulo, sharing the stage with renowned DJs such as DJ Marky, Beto Nini, and Junior Kain.
In 2013, he rekindled his passion for music and began producing over 100 edits of Brazilian music to enhance DJ sets. These productions have gained recognition and are played by DJs worldwide.
In 2019, Fabio joined DJ SOUND and Cri Du Chat Disques labels, publishing tracks through Warner Music and recently Universal Music. His releases showcase his authorial and experimental approach to electronic music.
